Elegant early silver tone metal powder compact by ROWENTA with charming petit point floral design in pink and green with black border on cream enamel.

Inside this tactile compact is a clear, reflective mirror. Clearly signed just below the bezel ROWENTA. The powder well is empty and the original sifter/puff are surprisingly still in place. Base is a lovely cream enamel.

Condition: View all photographs. Overall Excellent considering over 90 years old with only expected signs of light use and age. All clasps/hinges in working order.

Desirable and Delightful to use or display.

This high-quality vintage vanity is known as the ‘ROYALE’ design which is approx. 3 x 3 inches and I understand is the only square STRATTON with indentations in production approx. mid-50s to mid-60s.

Inside is a lovely clear and reflective bevelled mirror. The inner lid is detailed with renowned STRATTON ‘Compact in Hand’ logo. Original used sifter in place and the powder well is empty. The gleaming base has an all-over star design.

Condition overall is excellent with only light signs of use commensurate with age. All mechanisms working as they should. Obviously carefully stored for many years.

Impressive collectable late 40s early 50s Vogue Powder Compact. Top lid is beautifully detailed with lovely shades of pink and yellow clematis, including trailing green leaves on a smooth bright gold tone background.

Inside there is a clear reflective mirror and the inner lid is clearly signed with the Vogue Vanities Made in England trademark.

Original sifter and Vogue puff in place. The base is gold tone with a soft sheen with no dings.

Amazing  substantial powder compact, which has been engine turned to a high standard creating a magnificent Art Deco appearance to the top lid with central blank cartouche. The base is also engine turned with vertical lines.

Interior has a good reflective mirror and smooth polished inner lid. Original puff and sifter are in place. Powder well is empty and clean.

Excellent vintage condition throughout with minimum signs of wear – hardly used and carefully stored for 90 years. All mechanisms working.

Charming gold tone powder compact suitable for solid make-up or loose powder. Top lid is beautifully detailed with a gleaming embossed rose design on a gold etched linen look background. The clean interior has a lovely clear reflective mirror with the original unused sifter and puff. Top of the delightful puff is silky and signed Stratton. The sponge base is thin so I have included a complimentary new puff should the recipient choose to use as originally intended. The base is an all-over star design with central Stratton name.

The Lipview lipstick holder still has the dummy tube in place with instructions to use. Top lid has the identical attractive design as the compact. Open the holder to reveal a clear unblemished mirror perfect to apply lipstick.

Desirable novelty loose powder compact circa 50s/60s in Gold Tone metal detailed with eye-catching dark turquoise leatherette lid with the BOAC “Speedbird” logo. The lid opens to reveal the lovely original clear reflective mirror which has a tiny nick on top left corner – barely visible but mentioned for accuracy. Underneath the mirror is stamped MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.

The gold tone inner lid is signed Mascot ASB. Clean interior which still contains the original lightly used sifter and signed puff. Polished gold tone metal base with attractive vertical lines.

Glass Perfume Bottle in holder with working screw top in place: Size 5x5cm x 3.3cm. The gold tone holder is also decorated with a rose and opens to reveal a removable empty glass perfume bottle with a gold tone screw top. The holder is lined with red felt and stamped on base MASCOT LONDON

 All items are unused and in excellent vintage condition considering these beautiful vanities are 50 plus years old. All catches and hinges work perfectly. Overall, only minimal signs of wear.

The pretty lined original vintage box does show signs of age-related wear is included.

Delightful heart shaped compact which has been artistically detailed to create two birds sitting on branches and greeting each other. Inside the compact is stamped “Cherie” just above the clear reflective round mirror. Below the mirror is stamped Made in England. The inner lid has the KIGU triangle trademark, when this lid is opened it reveals the original sifter and clean empty powder well. The gold tone base has a lovely subtle geometric design.
